About Grant's Home Care
Grant's Home Care is a family owned Home maker and Companion service which is licensed as a non-clinical and non-personal care service.
Our commitment to our clients and customers is of the utmost importance, we put our client's needs first.
Your loved one is our first priority. Our motto is that happy people, makes others happy.
We believe that there is always a need for excellence, as there is always a need for reliability, and quality of service from a company who is ethical, and has high moral values.
We believe in our clients living independently in their own home, while providing them with minimal assistance in their daily activities.
I have worked on the administrative end of the healthcare field for twelve years. Over these years, I have watched families come and go. Some satisfied, some dissatisfied.
Here at Grant's Home Care, we strive to have more happy family than unhappy ones.
My mom is an elderly lady in her mid-seventies. As she gets older, we (her children) realized that she was afraid to be home alone. Mom's self sufficient, she does everything for herself, but she will not stay home alone.
My sister first started working with the elderly in their homes, and has been doing so for over ten years now. One day my sister came home after working with an alzheimer’s patient who lived alone, she told me that patient’s main concern was being home alone.
That client would sometimes tell her how they wish that she could stay all the time. My heart went out to that person, because I know my mom is the same way. It would hurt me knowing that she’s alone when she really doesn’t want to be. And so, this is where I got the idea to start a home maker/companion service, because even though the client may not physically need help, they need someone there to talk to; just knowing there is another human being to communicate with, makes a world of difference to an elderly person.
